Message from Sandra Pinto de Bader, Chair: Education is the greatest gift we can give our children. At MESA we support African-American, Latino, Native American and female K-12 students to continue on to college and pursue careers in Math, Science and Engineering. We believe that an education in Science, Math and Engineering provides kids with invaluable tools that will help open doors for their future professional development. MESA offers fun learning opportunities that show kids the practical applications of the knowledge they are acquiring. In this way learning becomes something useful, something kids can relate to instead of just difficult theory. I'm honored to be the Chair for the Seattle MESA Advisory Board. Being part of a team that has such a strong commitment to the development and wellbeing of our children is not only fun, it's inspiring and makes me feel like I'm really making a difference. There are different ways for everyone who is interested to join us in supporting our kids.
